1. Get your essential tools together
First of all, make sure to arrange all the essential tools which you required for a manicure. Following are the tools,
- Nail polish remover
- Cotton balls or swab
- Nail Filer
- Nail trimmer
- Bleach & Scrub products
- Cuticle cream
- Nail polish
2. Remove Previous Nail paint
Apply Nail remover to your nails with the help of a cotton or swab. Always keep one thing in mind that nail polish remover with acetone can damage your nails. As Acetone based removers work more quickly and smoothly than non-acetone removers. But the choice is yours if you still convinced with the results, you can use it as per your choice.
3. Clip, File / Buff your nails
Clip your nails if you need to trim your nails a bit. Now file your nails to shape the nails and don’t file them too short. You need to work gently with a file, excess force or push can weaken your nail or it can cause nail breakage as well. So just shape your nail tips in round, square or whatever you required.
Buff your nail by using a nail buffer to smoothen the surface. Never buff too much, as it can cause your nails to weaken. A smooth buffer is a great tool to buff the sides of the nail along with the middle.
4. Bleach your hands

6. Cleanse & Scrub your hands

9. Moisturize your hands

Dry your nails, if there is a lotion because nail polish will not stick over there if it’s greasy.
10. Prep your Nails before Nail polish
Sometimes it remains moisture over nail’s surface which doesn’t allow nail polish to paint properly. so just take cotton or swab and apply nail paint remover to erase it if there is any residue. Although it can leave your cuticles dull and dry you don’t have to panic. Because you can moisturize them again once you completed nail polish.
11. Apply Base Coat
Basecoat is much important before you apply nail polish. It not only helps to stay nail polish for long but keeps protected your nails from staining as well. 12. Nail Art

13. Dry out polish after each coat
