What is Contouring?

Contour is basically applied to define or reshape your facial features. The areas of your face which are shaded less prominent. 05 Steps of Contour and Highlight

Step 1. Choose Foundation

First of all, pick your usual foundation shade and apply it as you do normally. Keep it your preference to start with a mattifying primer or luminous primer.

Step 2. Shading key areas

Select a foundation with few shades darker than your skin tone or you can also use pigmented bronzers. You have to use the darker foundation and, then apply it by using contour brush, to the areas where you want to contour such as your hairline, temples, hollows of your cheeks, jawline, and nose. Step 3. Blend it well

Step 4. Highlight

You have to use a foundation shade that is 1-2 shades lighter than you normally use or use a highlighter.

Step 5. Enlight the key areas

Apply highlighter to those areas that naturally absorb light. These are most likely the top of your cheekbones, brow bones, forehead, chin, and your nose. Also make a gentle application of highlighter by using the brush, to the cheeks or nose as well.
